Men's Ministry

The purpose of RCC men’s ministry is to help the men of our church become disciples – men who are called to walk with Christ, equipped to live like Christ, and sent to work for Christ for His glory (2 Timothy 3:15-17). We will do this by:

• Finding the true meaning of the Gospel through the relevant teaching of the Word of God and through shared experiences
• Helping men develop authentic relationships with Christian men that will help them grow spiritually
• Becoming spiritual leaders in our families and in the church
• Seeking to be living examples of the Gospel in the workplace, the community, and the world.

Ways to Get Involved

There are many ways for men to get involved at Rothbury Community Church. The following ministries are designed for men. Various groups meet regularly for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.

Pastor’s Prayer Partners

During the Sunday morning service there are at least 2 men dedicated to praying for the pastor while he speaks the Word of God. This is a very important ministry that blesses the pastor and the men who pray for him. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, please contact Dick Paxson: (231) 894-5536.

Ushers

Four men are needed during every service to help usher for a month at a time. You would hand out bulletins, help find seats for people, and assist with taking of the offering. If this service interests you, please contact the office at (231) 893-4965.

Men’s Breakfast

On the second Saturday of every month at 8:00 am men of all ages are invited to a hardy breakfast. This year we are studying a select number of the “one anothers” found in the New Testament. For more information contact the office or Bill Goss: (231) 894-6423.

Men’s Bible Study

On Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm we are challenging our men to be men of the Word and to grow in their calling of Biblical manhood. All ages are encouraged to participate in this open Bible study. Call the church office for more information.
