It has been my privilege to be part of the RCC family since 1988. I was Youth Pastor for the first 12 years and since have been Sr. Pastor. What a wonderful responsibility it is to study and bring the Word of God to God’s people each week.
I grew up in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Accepted Christ in my early years, and was impacted deeply by many godly people including my parents, and youth pastor that God used to confirm His calling to serve in full time ministry. I then received my Bachelors and Masters from Briercrest Bible College and Seminary.
One of the blessings of moving to Michigan was finding my beautiful wife Cathy. We have been married since 1992 and have been blessed with 5 children. Austin, Abram, Alexander, Audrianna, Alyson (can you see a pattern?).
When time allows it, I enjoy playing hockey (like every Canadian), basketball, and water skiing.
I pray that RCC will be a blessing to you as it has our family.
My parents raised me in a Christian home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I trusted Christ for salvation in my early teenage years, and was on the path towards full-time ministry by college. I attended Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Bible and Pastoral Studies
My wife Meggan and I are high school sweethearts and have been married since 2005. Just months after our wedding Meggan and I packed up our home and moved to Los Angeles, California where I attended and graduated from The Master’s Seminary. During our time in seminary the Lord blessed us with our three children Lillian and Noah, and our youngest Timothy was born in 2010.
For recreation I like to read, play guitar, watch the Minnesota Twins, and play with technology.
I lead the youth program and children ministries at RCC and I eagerly look forward to what the Lord has in store for us as a church family as we continue to serve Him!
